VALIDATION EXERCISE

A special section of the symposium will be devoted to validation of physical and computational models, codes and solutions. Three bench mark problems have been specified. The details are given in several formats (Word, pdf and html/ps) to facilitate access from different computers and browsers. It is believed that they have good quality experimental and/or computational results. Computational solutions to these problems are invited. The idea is not to have a competition between methods, but to provide quality data against which models, methods and codes can be assessed.

People intending to submit contributions are requested to notify Professor Darrell Pepper early, so that we will have an indication of the number of contributions we can expect.
