SELECTION, PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION OF PAPERS

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Authors (available in html, Word, rtf or pdf formats). They are to be submitted by October 1, 2000 for review (original plus two copies) to an International Scientific Committee (ISC) member in the author's country, if any, or to the nearest convenient ISC member otherwise. A copy should also be sent to one of the symposium co-chairs (who should be told which ISC member has been sent the paper). The work should not have been previously published. (Note: prior submission of abstracts is not required.)

After review and correction (if necessary), the final manuscripts should be sent to one of the co-chairs before March 1, 2001.

At the symposium, there will be both oral and poster presentations. Authors are invited to express a preference, which will be satisfied if possible; otherwise, the decision will be made by the organisers. Suggestions for the preparation of posters are offered for guidance.

All papers accepted for presentation, whether orally or by poster, will be included in the Proceedings, to be published by Begell House, Inc. The Proceedings will be distributed to participants at the symposium.

A CD-ROM containing the proceedings will also be produced. Participants may elect to receive only the CD-ROM if they wish. If this election is made at the time of submission of the corrected manuscript, a reduced Registration fee will apply.
